Join the Girl Scouts Advocacy Network and be a Voice for Girls www.GirlScouts4Girls.org
Girl Scouts is building a grassroots network where Girl Scout members, staff, and alumnae can act on issues moving through Congress and the state legislatures that are important to girls and Girl Scouts. By joining the Girl Scouts Advocacy Network, you will be a part of a collective voice that responds to policy issues that impact girls and Girl Scouts.
The Girl Scouts Advocacy Network
The Girl Scouts Advocacy Network will work to impact legislation and respond to policy issues on topics that impact girls—issues like healthy living, increasing girls’ involvement in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math), financial literacy, and leadership. The network will also focus on issues that will expand the delivery of the Girl Scout program into currently underserved communities.
Use Your Voice to Help Girl Scouts Celebrate their 100th Anniversary by Supporting the Commemorative Coin Act. The Girl Scouts of the USA Centennial Commemorative Coin Act recognizes the achievements of Girl Scouts of the USA and the 50 million women across the nation whose lives have been influenced through Girl Scouting. This legislation will direct the U.S. Mint to produce 350,000 silver coins. Ten dollars ($10) from the sale of each coin will go to GSUSA to help support the development and delivery of Girl Scout programs and to fund much-needed renovations at the Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace.
We need your help to encourage your Members of Congress to sponsor this legislation. When you join the Girl Scouts Advocacy Network, you can also send a message in support of the Commemorative Coin.
How You Can Help Join the Girl Scouts Advocacy Network and you will be part of a growing grassroots network that serves as a voice for girls—in your community and across the nation.
