Juliettes: For individually registered members who are not members of a troop and choose to work on their own with an adult advisor.
School Based Troop or Group: Join a troop that is formed from the schools in her neighborhood.
Home School Troop or Group: Join or start a troop of girls who are all home schooled.

Home School Sponsored Group: Join a group of girls from all age groups who will be working on similar projects sponsored by a Home School Association.
How do you form a Home School Troop or Group?
-
The Home School Association or a parent recruits leaders from the association who will be positive role models for the girls.
-
The leader fills out a Volunteer Application and returns it to the Council for a background check and written references.
-
Appointment to a troop leadership position is done by the Service Unit Manager and reappointed yearly.
-
Training in Girl Scout Program is required and offered at no charge.
