PEARLS - Girl Scout Legacy Giving

Girl Scout Legacy Giving

ABOUT PEARLS ...

Since 1912 in the USA and 1917 in eastern Oklahoma, Girl Scouts has been engaging girls in discovering themselves, connecting with others, and taking action to make the world a better place. We want to guarantee that Girl Scouting will be just as strong for future generations.

FROM HEIRLOOMS TO HERITAGE …

In 1914 Juliette Gordon Low’s own rare set of matched pearls brought $8,000 to the newly founded organization – a significant amount that carried the Girl Scout movement forward at a critical time. She is quoted as saying, “Jewels are not important, but my Girl Scouts are. They need money more than I need pearls.”

As we launch “Pearls” (our legacy giving program), we are excited to share an opportunity that not only helps you personally plan for the future but will also continue the legacy of Girl Scouts.

THROUGH PARTNERSHIP ... THE FUTURE IS POSSIBLE.

Girl Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma is participating in the Planned Giving Partnership Program offered through the Tulsa Community Foundation. This allows us to provide our donors with complimentary, confidential and professional planned giving guidance. A planned gift may include a will, trust, gift annuity or several other planned giving tools customized to your specific needs.

There is no cost or obligation for using our educational legacy giving service; it’s just our way of partnering with you. For more information or to arrange an appointment, please contact us at 918-749-2551 or email funddevelopment@gseok.org.
