Registration Process
Pre-registration is required for all courses. Sessions are filled on a first come, first served basis. We will only prepare enough materials for those registered. Please do not attend training unless you register in advance.

If the course you are registering for has a fee:
Your payment must be received with your registration or your space will not be held. You may pay for courses with a check or money order, payable to GSEOK if you are mailing or delivering your registration. You may also pay by credit card through any of the Girl Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma Stores in person or over the phone.
Course fees are non-refundable.
A training credit will be issued if you call a week in advance to cancel. If the class is rescheduled by the Council, your fee will be transferred. Classes with fees may be rescheduled by the participant only one time with a fee transfer. Additional course fees must be paid if a participant reschedules more than once.
Courses with low enrollment may be cancelled.
Out of courtesy to our volunteer trainers and to provide you with the best experience, we reserve the right to reschedule participants if less than six (6) people are registered. In the event of a course cancellation, fees will be refunded. When a course is cancelled due to low enrollment you will be notified as soon as possible.
Confirmation:
Please mark your calendar when you register for a training. If you register at least one week in advance, you will receive a reminder phone call confirming your registration 2 – 3 days prior to the course. It will include the specific location, date and time of the training. Please be sure to review this information before driving to your training and make note of any changes. If you do not receive your confirmation phone message, call or email the Training Registrar. You may assume you are registered for a class unless the registrar contacts you.
Canceling:
After you have registered, if you find you cannot attend, call the Training Registrar immediately. Our policy of providing no / low-cost training is impacted by those who pre-register but do not attend and do not cancel – referred to as “NO-SHOWS.” No-Shows cost the program time and money in unnecessary numbers of handouts, unused meeting space, and extra trainers. Moreover, others wishing to attend are denied the opportunity.
Bad weather:
If inclement weather forces a cancellation, your trainer or a GSEOK staff member will make every attempt to notify you in advance. Providing an email address and cell phone number when you register assists in this process.
Arriving late:
Please arrive 15 minutes early as training begins and ends promptly. Attendance during the entire scheduled time is necessary to meet requirements. If you find you cannot be at the training when it begins or stay for the entire course, please reschedule for a different time when you can be there for the full class.
Children:
Please DO NOT bring your children with you; childcare is not available. This is for the safety of your children and the consideration of those in attendance.
