Short Term Volunteer Awards
Bookmark and Share

Adults who give time to Girl Scouting at the Council level on a short term and occasional basis are very important to the success and growth of our Girl Scout program.  There are three awards for volunteers based on their service during a specific time period as identified in the volunteer agreement.  The agreement may be for a time period of one to three years, with an end-of-assignment review for each completed activity.  There is no official selection process for these awards and they may be given at any time during the year.  The awards may be given by the volunteer’s manager after the work has been completed satisfactorily.

We encourage Service Units to recruit and recognize short-term volunteers for focus groups, interest groups, programs and events.
