 Girl Scout Troops in Public Housing Communities
In an effort to reach every girl, everywhere, GSEOK is bringing relevant programs to girls growing up in public housing communities.
For 24 years, we have established a permanent Girl Scout presence integrated into public housing communities, offering girls the tools to face life in an increasingly complex world. We provide weekly Girl Scout meetings at locations throughout the Council.
The troops in these locations are all led by Council Outreach Specialists. Thanks to our partnership with HUD, more and more girls in the public housing will benefit from the support, encouragement and enrichment of Girl Scouting.
Girl Scouting in the School Day
This national project enables students from kindergarten through high school to participate in Girl Scout activities and events. Educators, too, can benefit from the Girl Scouting in th eSchool Day program as they use Girl Scout resources to enhance curriculum.
